Senior Test Development Engineer
Location:
Glenrothes, Fife
Join us at Raytheon UK for a full time, permanent role.
Responsibilities- Design and develop functional test equipment for electronic systems
- Lead and support hardware/software integration and troubleshooting
- Provide lifecycle and production support, including issue resolution and obsolescence management
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop robust, scalable test solutions
- Lead design reviews and documentation to the highest standards
- Act as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers
- Design of product Test Development Hardware
- Wiring Schedules
- System Interface design
- Appreciation of NI Lab View/Teststand
- Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation
- Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
- Able to support/debug system integration
- Eligible Security Clearance to a minimum of BPSS
- Significant test development experience in industry (Desirable)
- Understanding of common test architectures PXI/LXI
- Measurement Uncertainty and its application in test equipment design and validation
- Software detailed knowledge of NI Lab View, CVI & Test Stand, C#
- Competitive salary
