Personal Assistant - SDS​/SG

5 Hours Per Week (Wednesday or Friday)

We are looking for a personal care assistant for our client who is a 68‑year‑old woman with a long‑term disability. Our client currently has a team of carers and is looking for another person to work with her privately.

Our client is looking for someone who is motivated, practical, with a positive outlook and a can‑do attitude to help her maintain her independence at home and out and about. In this role you will assist with making phone calls, going to the hairdresser, and food preparation.

She has limited mobility and uses a power chair at home and outdoors. She has cerebral palsy and uses an iPad to communicate with others. This role also involves some personal care. Being a driver is essential to allow the client to travel in her own vehicle.

Applicants must have a caring attitude, be honest, kind, have a good sense of humour, reliable, and flexible. Having experience in personal care would be a benefit but is not essential.
