Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to work at the Glenrothes Depot. The role involves maintaining our bus fleet and ensuring vehicles are road‑worthy so passengers can reach their destinations. You will be supported by fitters, fellow technicians, electricians and engineering managers, with training provided for those without a bus background.

• Perform oil changes, Dpf maintenance and other routine mechanical maintenance on buses.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical and brake issues.
• Support the garage during peak periods, ensuring timely servicing of the fleet.
• Record service work and maintain accurate service logs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Interest in engineering and willingness to learn about bus maintenance.
• Previous experience with mechanical or vehicle maintenance is an advantage but not mandatory.
