Who are we looking for?

Compugraphics have had their Manufacturing Facility in Glenrothes since 1967 and work 24 hours, 7 days per week.

The Production Operator is certainly joining a well-established organisation where we will be able to provide the suitable candidates with a full training programme and support to develop valuable skills and establish themselves as a valued member of the Team. They will be asked to participate in continuous improvement exercises that will improve their work areas and give them a sense of ownership.

We now have an opportunity for a Production Operator to join our team in Glenrothes.

Working hours are: 40 hours per week on a Four-on / Four- off Rota, working 07.30am - 19.26pm.

Our Production Operation’s work within our Cleanroom Facility to ensure and maintain a smooth interface with the Data Processing function as the production input. Co-operative Team working with the other operational functions, notably Production Support, as well as the Quality Department and other Production Areas.

What will you be doing?

Production responsibilities include but are not limitedto:

  • Reading internal databases to determine customer specifications and requirements
  • Exposing photomasks by inputting data correctly into exposuretools
  • Process photomasks using dedicatedtools
  • Measure critical dimensions of features to the customerspecificinstructions and specification
  • Accuratelycontrolour process by reading, understanding and following our SPCsystem
  • Checking the quality of product using automatic inspectiontools
  • Dispatching of product to customer specificinstructions
  • Maintaining Cleanroom cleanliness and adhering to all Cleanroomprotocol

The Production Operator will also be asked to participate in continuous improvement exercises that will improve their work areas and give them a sense of ownership.

Who are You?

We are looking for candidates with Standard Grade Maths and English, or equivalent, excellent time management, positive can-do attitude and ability to easily communicate with colleagues.

What competencies will you need?

Previous experience working in a Clean Room environment would be advantageous, but not essential.

  • Attention to Detail– Ensures quality and safety by spotting defects or irregularities.
  • Reliability– Consistently shows up on time and completes tasks efficiently.
  • Physical Stamina– Can handle standing, walking for a long shift.
  • Teamwork– Works well with others to meet production goals and maintain workflow.

  • Adaptability– Can quickly adjust to changes in processes, equipment, or priorities.
