Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced with Epic EMR, CT contrast procedures, and holding a current NYS license and ARRT (CT) certification.

• Position is in a hospital setting with a focus on performing diagnostic CT scans
• Work regular 12-hour afternoon shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
• Expect to work every third weekend with no call required
• No block scheduling is available for this assignment
• GE scanner experience is preferred but not required
• Uses Epic EMR; prior experience with Epic is required
• Personal scrubs of any color are allowed except those with designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• Perform a variety of CT procedures independently using prescribed techniques
• Organize and prioritize workflow and complete all routine diagnostic procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication required
• Ability to function with minimal supervision and demonstrate basic computer skills
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation are provided
• COVID vaccination is strongly encouraged but not required
• Must complete approved verbal de-escalation training before onboarding
• 14-panel drug screen is required after offer acceptance
• Holiday and overtime rates paid at 1.25x
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved; requests must be submitted prior to uploading for consideration

• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist license required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• Proven experience performing CT contrast injections required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be able to obtain intravenous access
• Previous or current travel experience is strongly encouraged
• Candidate must have their own vehicle
• Permanent address must not be in excluded New York counties as specified
• License required if applicable
