Position Details

• Start Date:
  
  April - Ongoing
• Schedule Options:
  Choose between four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week
• Call:
  No call required
• Employment:
  Hospital-employed program
• Case Mix:
  Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Vascular, GI, ENT, Cath Lab, and various outpatient procedures
• Supervision Model:
  Anesthesia care team with a 1:4 MD to CRNA ratio

Requirements

• Licensure:
  Active New York State Medical License required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, NBCRNA certification
• Availability:
  Full-time availability is a must
• Experience with EMR:
  Cerner EMR system

Additional Information

• Locum-to-Permanent:
  Opportunity to transition to a permanent role if desired
• Recruitment Support:

Credentialing Requirements

• Case logs from the past 2 years.
• Active DEA license.
• Certificates of insurance covering the last 10 years.
• Employment verification for the past 10 years.
• Hospital privileges for the last 10 years.
• Three clinical references from the past 6 months (at least one from leadership).
• Additional certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control.
