American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN with EPIC experience for a 13-week night shift contract requiring an active NY RN license.

• Telemetry/Neuro unit (T6) within a community hospital setting
• 16-bed unit with a 4:1 RN to patient ratio
• Primarily adult to geriatric cardiac and telemetry patients
• Remote tele monitoring unit requiring interpretation, measurement, and documentation of cardiac rhythms twice per shift
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (3x12)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Strong proficiency and experience on Cardiac/Tele or Med-Tele units required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ability to comfortably interpret, measure, and document cardiac rhythms twice per shift
• Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Strong attendance record required with no history of call-outs

• Provide direct patient care on a busy cardiac/telemetry unit
• Neuro/stroke experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Dress code allows personal scrubs of any color, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• Candidates must disclose any prior experience at this facility or its affiliated health system
• Requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to assignment start, with no more than 5 days accepted
• No block scheduling will be considered for this assignment
• Candidates residing in certain nearby NY counties will not be considered for this travel assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
