Behavioral Technician

River Academy of Excellence is a private academic school, providing services to students in grades K‑8. We are committed to providing innovative, individualized, and empowering education to meet the unique needs of each and every student.

We are hiring a full‑time Registered Behavioral Technician and/or a Paraprofessional to join our dedicated team. Your role will be to provide quality therapeutic services in a small private school setting (6–12 students). The paraprofessional will provide 1:1 educational support to students.

• Provide daily behavioral therapy services to those students identified as requiring services.
• Complete daily documentation.
• Maintain communication with families and staff for the betterment of each student.
• Participate in regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success.
• Promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for students and families.

• BCBA, RBT, or paraprofessional experience working in a school setting (accepting these credentials).
• Licensed or certified in behavior in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional and positive work ethic.
• Passion for the field of school‑based behavioral therapy services.
