Accounts Receivable Specialist – Full-Time, Silt, CO

Join the Valley View team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This full-time, day shift position is located in the Silt Office Building, Silt, CO.

• Responsible for insurance accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or incorrectly paid claims.
• Provide backup for key positions throughout the office.
• Work on special projects as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school and one-year related billing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States. The company is not able to sponsor visas.

• Medical billing and health insurance-related policies, processes and procedures.
• Customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use computers, including Windows-based programs; prior experience with Athena or Nex Gen preferred.

• Excellent speaking and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in and support a team environment.
• Ability to teach others.

• $20.00 to $28.87 per hour.
• Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
