Lube Technician

Overview

Entry level position in automotive service. This role focuses on oil changes, tire rotation and other light maintenance work, with potential to start a career in automotive service.

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspection
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
• Provide excellent customer service, keeping the customer’s perspective first
• Present a friendly, professional greeting to customers and help identify, confirm and offer resolutions to customer concerns
• Ensure the customer’s needs are understood

• Communication skills - communicates effectively with others

• Typing - ability to type efficiently to enter repair orders
• Mathematics - ability to calculate service costs
