Adjunct Faculty, Non-Credit, Culinary role at Inside Higher Ed
This position seeks an experienced culinary instructor to teach non‑credit community education courses. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to student success and diversity, and must be a resident of the State of Colorado.
Qualifications- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience to perform the duties required with teaching in continuing education or community education.
- Preferred bilingual or conversational language abilities in English/Spanish.
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Residency requirement: employee must be a resident of Colorado and perform all duties within the state.
- Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with students, employees, and community members of all backgrounds.
- Teach course load as assigned.
- Prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved course outcomes.
- Develop a professional relationship with students and staff that encourages communication.
- Assist in the recruitment of students, as appropriate.
- Assist in the evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance, when agreed upon.
- Represent the college in a professional manner throughout the community and college district, promoting a positive public image.
- Complete all required annual CMC training courses (e.g., Title IX, Digital Accessibility, Data Security and Privacy).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervision of the PositionThis position reports to the campus non‑credit Community Education coordinator or campus designee.
Working ConditionsConstant sitting, occasional walking, standing, and driving; frequent reaching with hands/arms; occasional lifting and handling of objects up to 50 lbs. Uses a computer and standard office equipment daily. Requires constant written and oral communication, reasoning, and occasional calculations.
