This scheduler position is to register patients for their appointments, answer the phone, schedule and arrive patients for their imaging exams. Be courteous, helpful and positive face for the department .

SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday Days. No Weekends and No Holidays!

Valley View's busy Imaging Department is seeking full-time, patient-focused Patient Services Specialists with excellent customer service skills to be the first contact for our patients. Previous Customer Service experience in a medical setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities include providing patients with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping Imaging providers and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls forthe department, techs, and providers appropriately. Patient care background and medical scheduling experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Receptionist/clerical experience required
• Patient care background and/or medical scheduling experience preferred.
