Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

We’re hiring experienced RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery for a 13-week contract in Glenwood Springs, Colorado — earn up to ($2548 - $2682 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Assist in emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for continuity of care.
• Evaluate and improve personal performance based on feedback and results.
• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes and postpartum care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and support team success.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Utilize hospital resources efficiently to achieve patient care goals.

• Hold a valid RN license in Colorado with specialization in labor and delivery.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Ability to perform emergency procedures such as neonatal resuscitation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-visibility, results-driven environment.
• Proficient in monitoring fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
• Demonstrated ability to comply with hospital policies and regulations.
• Proficiency in maintaining and updating detailed patient records.
