Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring strong CVICU skills and 3 years of critical care experience.

• Work in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) within a smaller, independent hospital setting
• Must be able to cover both CVICU and CCU units as needed
• 12-hour night shifts ) with a weekend rotation
• One call shift required every two weeks as part of the call rotation
• Facility features 2 Cath Labs, including 1 Hybrid Cath Lab
• Travelers must have a permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility
• Must be willing to support both CVICU and CCU patient populations
• Housing options may be available for travelers, including remodeled studio and one-bedroom apartments near the hospital
• This is a smaller hospital committed to serving the local community
• No local candidates permitted due to radius rule
• Proof of flu vaccination must be provided for consideration

• Active Colorado or Compact RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of RN critical care experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association
• Strong Day 0 CVICU experience required
• Annual flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
