American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a Youth Recovery Center night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and experience in adolescent psychiatric or addiction care.
Requirements- Active CO or compact RN license required
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2-3 years RN experience in adolescent psychiatric or addiction care
- Completed fingerprint-based national criminal history check within the last 30 days as required for Youth Mentoring Programs
- Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work rotating weekends
- CAC certification a plus
- Current flu vaccine required October 1st through April 1st with no exemptions
- In-hospital residential treatment center serving adolescents ages 15-18 with addiction recovery and mental health needs
- 12-hour night shift schedule with rotating weekends
- Involves participation in recreational activities with clients
- Provide nursing care and support to adolescent patients in addiction recovery and mental health treatment
- Participate in recreational activities with clients as part of care approach
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted
- Facility offers housing available for rent directly to travelers
