OR | Registered Nurse Travel RN – Glenwood Springs

Join a skilled perioperative team as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to support a broad range of surgical specialties in a collaborative, high-acuity environment while enjoying the natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains. Glenwood Springs is known for its scenic surroundings, world-class hot springs, hiking, biking, and easy access to Colorado’s mountain communities.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450–$2,580
• Start Date: November 24, 2026
• End Date: February 23, 2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Call Requirement: Rotating evening, overnight, and weekend call; typically one call weekend and four to five weeknight call shifts during each eight-week scheduling period
• Practice Areas: General surgery, orthopedics, robotics, cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, OB-GYN, pediatrics, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, and trauma

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a valid Compact RN license in good standing
• At least 3 years of recent operating room, perioperative nursing, or surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated experience as an operating room circulator; circulation and scrub experience is strongly preferred
• Current influenza vaccination is required during the applicable flu season; exemptions are not available
• Ability to participate in rotating evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday call coverage

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process
• Serve as an operating room circulator and support scrub functions as qualified
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and instrumentation for a variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
• Maintain aseptic technique and promote patient safety throughout each procedure
• Complete patient assessments, documentation, surgical counts, specimen handling, and care coordination
• Support procedures involving robotic technology and multiple surgical specialties
• Respond effectively to urgent and emergent surgical needs while maintaining a calm, organized approach
• Participate in scheduled evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday call coverage
