POSITION SUMMARYThe Globe Operations Manager leads day-to-day warehouse and delivery operations for the Globe facility. The position is accountable for safe and efficient staffing, inventory handling, route loading, delivery execution, fleet readiness, product quality, customer service, and facility security. The manager develops employees through hands-on coaching, maintains accurate operating controls, and coordinates closely with sales, administration, suppliers, carriers, and company leadership. Earn up to $73,000.00 annual salary, depending on experience.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Must hold a valid, Class A CDL
- Leadership experience in beverage distribution, warehousing, transportation, logistics, or a similar operation preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory controls, product rotation, route delivery, employee scheduling, safety, and facility security.
- A direct, fair, and consistent leadership style with strong coaching and communication skills.
- Strong organization, problem-solving, follow-through, and basic computer and reporting skills.
- Ability to meet the physical, scheduling, licensing, and insurability requirements of the position.
- Regular presence in warehouse, yard, delivery vehicle, and customer environments, with exposure to varying temperatures and active material-handling operations.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and safely lift or move beverage products and operating materials consistent with company safety practices.
- Schedule flexibility to support early starts, late finishes, holidays, route coverage, inventory activity, and other operational needs.
- Train, schedule, coach, and supervise warehouse employees and delivery drivers so assigned work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Set clear daily priorities, approve overtime before it is worked, conduct regular team meetings, and support documented performance reviews and corrective action in accordance with company policy.
- Use ride-alongs, work-withs, discussions, and skills training to improve delivery execution, driving habits, product handling, retailer relations, and adherence to established route sequences.
- Maintain working knowledge of warehouse functions and delivery routes, and provide operational coverage when needed for vacations, illness, holidays, or other business needs.
- Oversee receiving and verification of incoming products, transfers, supplies, and related paperwork; ensure accurate case counts and timely document flow to the office.
- Maintain inventory controls that reduce loss from pilferage, damage, aging, or misplacement; assist with physical inventories and resolution of variances.
- Enforce code-date management and first-in, first-out rotation. Ensure product rows are properly identified and rework is returned to saleable inventory each day.
- Verify outgoing route loads and returned loads, including product, empties, pallets, and dunnage. Require authorized documentation for all product leaving the warehouse.
- Coordinate supplier returns and verify counts for empties, pallets, and other returnable assets.
- Ensure route trucks are accurately pre-staged, loaded, verified, and configured to protect product and support efficient delivery, including planned space for keg loading and returns.
- Monitor on-time delivery, route sequence compliance, product rotation, stocking standards, paperwork, collections, and safe handling of returns and empties.
- Maintain productive relationships with retail owners, managers, and employees, and respond to service issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Recommend route or workflow adjustments that improve customer service, productivity, safety, or use of labor and equipment.
