American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift telemetry and observation unit requiring an active AZ or compact license and 2 years of experience.
Details- Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry patient population
- Med-Surg/Observation nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Step Down ratio of 1:4
- Night shift schedule, 7p-7am with set schedules
- Uses Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing system
- Option to take call during periods of low census alongside full-time staff
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
- Active AZ or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
- Step Down experience preferred but not required
- Flu vaccine required with no exceptions
- Provide nursing care across Med-Surg, Observation, and Telemetry units
- Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- No more than 3 days of RTO may be requested per 13-week contract
