We are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support and eventually step into a Site Manager role on a busy housing development project in Glossop. This role offers an immediate start, a competitive salary range (£45,000‑£49,000), a car allowance and a company bonus scheme.

• Work under the supervision of a Senior Site Manager to deliver a well‑executed site of 74 units (51 apartments, 23 houses) currently in its final roof works stage.
• Co‑manage day‑to‑day activities including site safety, quality control, contractor coordination and progress reporting.
• Prepare and present regular progress updates to the management team and clients.
• Assist in planning the next site project in Greater Manchester, applying lessons from the Glossop development.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Assistant or Junior Site Manager, ideally in traditional construction.
• Demonstrated ability to work at pace, meet deadlines and maintain high quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of effective stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on site.
