Mechanical Technician required for an industry‑leading manufacturer offering a days role in a friendly working environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that has invested heavily into machinery on site and is committed to employee development through external training and progression.

This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer. Candidates from any industry are encouraged and will need to hold an engineering qualification.

The successful candidate will join a small but growing engineering team responsible for carrying out PPMs, repairs and project work across the company's Glossop site.

• PPM and servicing of machinery
• Reactive repairs when required
• Project work: new machinery
• Working with moulding machinery, hot wire cutters, granulation systems, etc.
• Working with steam, boilers, hydraulics and pneumatic systems

• Mechanically biased or multiskilled engineer
• Hold a relevant engineering qualification
• Any industry background
