Mechanical Technician (Maintenance/Days) – Glossop

A £40,000 + Overtime (1.5x) + 24 Holidays + Bank Holidays + Development Opportunities

Two Different Shift Patterns Available:
Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 OR Monday to Thursday 14:00 to Midnight

Mechanical Technician required for an industry leading manufacturer offering a days role in a friendly working environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company who have invested heavily into machinery on site and are committed to employee development through external training and progression.

This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer. Candidates from any industry are encouraged and you will need to hold an engineering qualification.

The successful candidate will be joining a small but growing engineering team responsible for carrying out PPMs, repairs and project work across the company's Glossop site.

• PPM and servicing of machinery
• Reactive repairs when required
• Project work - new machinery
• Working with moulding machinery, hot wire cutters, granulation systems etc.
• Working with steam, boilers, hydraulics and pneumatic

• Mechanically biased or multiskilled engineer
• Hold a relevant engineering qualification
• Any industry background
