CNC Miller: Precision Programmer​/Operator

Pressure Tech is a precision engineering firm with energy sector clients across the globe. As we expand into the clean energy market we have a vacancy for a CNC Miller to join our growing team. DUTIES INCLUDE

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Producing components to required tolerances and quality standards, right first time
• Finishing components to the highest quality standards
• Identifying and recommending programme amendments to improve efficiency and/or quality
• Making authorised amendments to CNC programmes to meet component design requirements
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet the required quality standards

• Experienced CNC programmer, setter and operator (although we will consider applicants with limited programming experience who are willing to learn)
• Experience of programming FANUC controls will be beneficial
• Experience of operating twin turret multi-axis CNC machines will be an advantage
• Qualified through apprenticeship or HND
• Able to manufacture precision components from fully understanding engineering drawings in terms of tolerances, surface finish etc.
• Experience of CMM desirable
