HGV Class 1 Driver

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to work for one of our clients in Glossop.

- Please note that the role requires some handball and you must also be okay with doing 1-2 nights out per week.

Please be advised that this is a temp to perm position.

• Valid Cat CE Licence (HGV Class
  1)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• A preferred 6 month of relevant driving experience
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's endorsements)

• Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly while obeying all traffic laws.
• Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
• Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary
• Good communication with Branch Managers on daily progress.

• Minimum 8 hours pay per shift*.

PAID WEEKLY VIA PAYE

£17.59
- Minimum 8 hours paid

£23.53
- Paid after 8 hours

This rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate, if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £15.70h and £21ph overtime.
