Driver Hire Stockport is looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team and work for our well respected client bases in Glossop. Working Monday to Friday. 6am starts.

Responsibilities

Driving HGV vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all road traffic legislation.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
Maintaining regular communication with the branch regarding your daily progress.
Completing all paperwork accurately and on time.

Qualifications

A full UK driving licence.
A valid HGV Category C+E (Class
1) licence.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No DD, DR, IN or TT endorsements.
At least 6 months’ relevant HGV driving experience (preferred).
The ability to work to tight deadlines.

Pay Rates

Paid weekly via PAYE

£17.93 per hour – Minimum 8 hours paid.
£23.53 per hour – After 8 hours.

These rates include holiday pay. If you prefer to accrue holiday separately, the rates are:

£16.00 per hour
£21.00 per hour overtime
