Engineering Technician – Intermediate

Our Client, a Materials Engineering company, is looking for a Engineering Technician – Intermediate for their Gloucester, MA location.

• Tasks will include HV electrical, High Vacuum and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to modify/rebuild modules, as well as calibrations, measure particulates, metals testing and demonstrations.
• Has developed proficiency in a range of analytical/scientific processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks and complex work.
• Will perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum and process testing on Client equipment per Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.
• Experience in assembly, integration and calibrations of semiconductor capital equipment, plasma etch platforms, Implanters (high current, Medium Current, PLAD) or equivalent equipment in a clean room environment.
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
• Exchanges ideas and information effectively; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.
• Observes all safety standards.
• Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.
• Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices.
• Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment (PPE) when required, and uses equipment and materials properly.
• Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma and 4-7 year’s technician training/experience in a high technology area.
• Minimum of 2‒3 year’s semiconductor experience, VCS training on other VIISta tools a plus.
• Understanding of electrical circuitry is required.
