Applied Materials is seeking a PhD student for a 6–9 month on-site co-op in Gloucester, MA. You will design and execute experiments to advance future semiconductor devices, focusing on patterning and material modification.
You’ll characterize thin films with FTIR, Raman, XPS, XRR, ellipsometry, SEM/TEM and analyze data using Python/MATLAB. Start dates range from September to November 2026, with multiple options.
