Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse

About the Role

We're looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Gloucester, MA. The right RN should have 1–2 years recent acute care experience. The ER Travel Nurse will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care using proper procedures and physician instructions. The role is fast‑paced and urgent, requiring excellent communication and patient‑care skills.

• Assess and triage patients, documenting medical history and vital signs.
• Perform minor medical operations and provide bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds, provide IV therapy, and maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certificates.
• 2 years acute care experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs routine, up to 50 lbs when necessary.
• Good stress‑management skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

ER Travel Nurses must be able to stand, walk for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds y should be able to cope with a fast‑paced environment and work with patients of all ages.
