Financial Accountant

Location:

Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the wider finance function.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Assisting with statutory accounts and year‑end audit
• Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end close
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls

• ACA qualified (or newly qualified)
• Currently working in practice and looking to make your first move into industry
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience working with a varied client portfolio and statutory reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, organised and keen to develop your career in a commercial environment
