Accounts Manager; Part time

Position: Accounts Manager (Part time)
Location: Gloucestershire

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of a successful engineering business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day finance function, including accounts payable and receivable. Process sales and purchase invoices, payments and credit control. Complete bank, supplier and customer reconciliations. Prepare and submit VAT Returns Process weekly payroll. Maintain accurate financial records and provide information to the external accountant for year-end accounts. Monitor costs and financial performance and provide financial information Maintain effective financial controls and identify opportunities to improve processes.

Essential Criteria :
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar finance/accounting role. Experience taking ownership of a finance function. Strong knowledge of accounts, VAT, reconciliations Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail, numerical and analytical skills.

Hours:
