Overview

This is an important role providing administrative support to the Operations team. Reporting to the County Business Manager, the primary purpose is to assist in the smooth running of the County.

Responsibilities

This role includes responsibilities relating to the monitoring and administration of sickness absence, recording key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring sufficient supply of essential non‑pay items for the County. The role will also assist the local management team with the administration and coordination of new starters and leavers, the preparation of reports and papers for County meetings, and act as a point of contact within the County for initial enquiries from members of the public, operational staff and staff from Trust HQ.

The role also requires coordinating a ‘bring forward’ system for all relevant documentation and correspondence, responding to incoming correspondence as directed by the County Business Manager, maintaining a suitable filing system for the County, and acting as an informal mentor to the apprentice within the administration function.
