Accounts Administrator

Contract Length: 3 Months+
Pay Rate: £13–14 per hour

Overview

Syntech Recruitment are currently supporting a client based in the Kingswood area of Bristol in the search for an experienced Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant on an initial 3-month contract basis, with potential for extension.

This position would suit a detail-oriented and organised individual with strong administrative and finance support experience, ideally within a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records

* Supporting day-to-day accounting and administrative activities

* Processing financial information using accounting software including SAGE

* Managing documentation and maintaining organised filing systems

* Assisting with customer queries and internal communications professionally

* Supporting finance and administration teams with general office duties

* Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information

* Ensuring accuracy and quality across all administrative processes

Required Skills & Experience

* Previous experience using accounting software such as SAGE

* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

* Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail

* Strong organisational and documentation skills

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

* Professional and ethical approach to handling confidential information
