An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Clinical Genetics team as an Administrative Assistant based in GLOUCESTER OFFICE ORCHARD HOUSE, GLOUCESTER ROYAL HOSPITAL.

This post will work with colleagues across the South West Clinical Genetics service to ensure the provision of a professional, efficient, accurate and timely local service.

• Provide efficient and responsive clinic preparation (medical records) service, in accordance with Trust policies and standards relating to confidentiality and customer care.
• Provide professional, efficient and effective administrative support function to the wider team as required.
• Use multiple computer systems within the department such as EPIC, Trak Gene (in-house database system), and Microsoft Office applications.
• Work weekdays, 22.5 hours per week.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
