Vehicle Technician

Location:

Gloucester                                                                                                                                 
Salary: £33,000 - £41,000 basic depending on skills and experience, £45,000 OTE (Uncapped bonus based on efficiency).

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 40 hours with Saturday mornings on rota

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients workshop based in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Vehicle Technician responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

Vehicle Technician requirements:

We are ideally looking for a fully qualified Vehicle technician with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, however this is not essential
At minimum you must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and you must be able to provide certificates
You must have at least two years of full-time experience as a Vehicle Technician
Must hold a full UK driving licence
