Our client, a well-established multi-franchise-approved car dealership based in Gloucester, is actively seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.

This Vehicle Technician position offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals looking to enhance their careers within a reputable dealership. The successful professional will work with a range of leading automotive brands and benefit from a supportive team environment.

• Competitive salary between £25,000 and £43,000 per annum, based on experience and franchise qualifications
• Bonus scheme of up to £4,000 per year for professionals not holding Master Technician status
• Overtime paid at standard rate, subject to availability

• Perform all manner of vehicle maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards as a skilled Vehicle Technician
• Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings effectively to the Workshop Controller
• Ensure vehicles are serviced, repaired, and maintained to the highest quality, ensuring safety and reliability
• Follow all health & safety procedures and quality assurances relevant to the Vehicle Technician position
• Support ongoing technical training and certification to stay updated with latest automotive technology
• Contribute proactively to the overall efficiency of the workshop team

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with a minimum of 1-2 years' post-qualification experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Residency within a reasonable commuting distance of Gloucester
• A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and high standards of workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Motivated to achieve targets and contribute to team success
• Experience working on VAG vehicles or holding an active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
