Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a leading automotive retailer with franchise-approved dealerships nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established dealership in Gloucester.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
Ensure all work adheres to the manufacturer's standards and franchise guidelines
Accurately report vehicle conditions, faults, safety, and performance issues to the Service Manager
Maintain high quality standards and follow health and safety procedures at all times
Use your technical expertise to deliver excellent customer service and support the workshop team
Work efficiently in a busy environment, meeting targets and quality expectations
Ensure vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
One to two years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
Own set of tools
Full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
Experience working within a franchise-approved dealership is advantageous but not essential
Active MOT Smart Card would be beneficial
Motivated, team-oriented, and committed to high standards of work
Able to work in a fast-paced, professional workshop environment
