Job Overview

The Dermatology Team is seeking a motivated, well‑organised individual to serve as a Biologics Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide an efficient and professional service to the Pharmacist and Inflammatory team, coordinating and enabling timely biologic treatments for patients with a range of dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, and urticaria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of biologic treatments to an expanding patient base.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within hospital computer systems.
  • Prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide a positive and collaborative working relationship with the 10 consultants and 3 inflammatory specialist nurses on the team.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Evidence of experience within an administrative post in the NHS.
  • GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
  • NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent experience.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English, punctuation and grammar.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with people internally and externally.
Technical & Personal Skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel for data management and Outlook for communication.
  • IT capability to ensure proficient use of hospital computer systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team, quickly and accurately, and use independent judgement and initiative as appropriate.
