- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Estimator within construction or landscaping
- Strong ability to interpret construction, architectural, structural, and landscaping drawings
- Experience producing detailed, accurate Bills of Quantities
- Solid understanding of podium landscaping, roof gardens, green roofs, and green walls
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimating or measurement software
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Experience with blue roof systems, SUDS, and drainage layers
- Exposure to Tier 1 contractor projects
- Background in specialist or technical green infrastructure solutions
- Reviewing and analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Producing detailed, itemised Bills of Quantities for specialist landscaping packages
- Preparing accurate cost estimates covering materials, labour, plant, preliminaries, and risk
- Developing tender clarifications, methodologies, and assumptions where required
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and assess quotations
- Compiling complete tender submissions, including pricing and technical documentation
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to align tender outputs
- Supporting tender reviews, negotiations, and value engineering activities
- Identifying risks, exclusions, and optimisation opportunities within bids
- Maintaining estimating data, rates, and benchmarking information
- Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes
- A collaborative and commercially aware mindset
- Confidence working to tight deadlines and managing multiple tenders
