CPCS Telehandler – Long-Term Opportunity on Major A417 “Missing Link” Project

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Telehandler Operator to join a major, long-term infrastructure project on the A417 “Missing Link” scheme in Gloucestershire.

This is a high-profile highways project delivering a new 3.5-mile dual carriageway connecting Gloucester and Cirencester, improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing regional connectivity.

Your Role as a CPCS Telehandler Operator:

* Operate a Telehandler safely and efficiently across a busy highways construction site

* Transport and distribute materials to various work areas on site

* Load, unload, and move deliveries in line with site requirements

* Support trades and site teams with lifting and material handling operations

* Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance inspections

* Ensure all lifting and handling activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures

* Maintain clear communication with banksmen, supervisors, and logistics teams

* Follow all health & safety regulations and site rules at all times

* Assist with general site duties when required

What We’re Looking For as a CPCS Telehandler Operator:

* Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (essential)

* Own transport due to location of the works

* Previous experience operating a Telehandler on civil engineering or highways projects

* Strong awareness of health & safety procedures on construction sites

* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

 * £16.48 per hour (PAYE)
