We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Gloucester on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile civil engineering scheme involving significant earthworks, drainage and roadworks packages. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of works on site.

Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying for earthworks, drainage and roadworks activities
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design specifications and project requirements
Managing quality assurance documentation and as-built records
Conducting site inspections and monitoring progress against programme
Liaising with site management, subcontractors and client representatives
Identifying and resolving technical issues on site
Supporting the delivery team in maintaining health, safety and environmental standards

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong background in earthworks, drainage and road construction
Competent in setting out and surveying duties
Valid CSCS card
SSSTS desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment
