CPCS Telehandler – Long-Term Opportunity on Major A417 “Missing Link” Project
Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Telehandler Operator to join a major, long-term infrastructure project on the A417 “Missing Link” scheme in Gloucestershire.
This is a high-profile highways project delivering a new 3.5-mile dual carriageway connecting Gloucester and Cirencester, improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing regional connectivity.
Your Role as a CPCS Telehandler Operator:- Operate a Telehandler safely and efficiently across a busy highways construction site
- Transport and distribute materials to various work areas on site
- Load, unload, and move deliveries in line with site requirements
- Support trades and site teams with lifting and material handling operations
- Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance inspections
- Ensure all lifting and handling activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
- Maintain clear communication with banksmen, supervisors, and logistics teams
- Follow all health & safety regulations and site rules at all times
- Assist with general site duties when required
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (essential)
- SEQOSH Medical (or willingness to undertake one prior to starting)
- Own transport due to location of the works
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler on civil engineering or highways projects
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures on construction sites
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- £16.48 per hour (PAYE)
- Weekly pay – reliable and on time
