CPCS Telehandler – Long-Term Opportunity on Major A417 “Missing Link” Project

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Telehandler Operator to join a major, long-term infrastructure project on the A417 “Missing Link” scheme in Gloucestershire.

This is a high-profile highways project delivering a new 3.5-mile dual carriageway connecting Gloucester and Cirencester, improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing regional connectivity.

• Operate a Telehandler safely and efficiently across a busy highways construction site
• Transport and distribute materials to various work areas on site
• Load, unload, and move deliveries in line with site requirements
• Support trades and site teams with lifting and material handling operations
• Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance inspections
• Ensure all lifting and handling activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
• Maintain clear communication with banksmen, supervisors, and logistics teams
• Follow all health & safety regulations and site rules at all times
• Assist with general site duties when required

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket (essential)
• SEQOSH Medical (or willingness to undertake one prior to starting)
• Own transport due to location of the works
• Previous experience operating a Telehandler on civil engineering or highways projects
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures on construction sites
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• £16.48 per hour (PAYE)
• Weekly pay – reliable and on time
