Customer Service Administrator

Location: Gloucester (Office Based)
Hours: Full Time | Permanent Salary: £26,500 per annum

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy customer service team within a fast‑paced office environment. This role involves handling a high volume of inbound calls, processing orders, resolving customer queries, and ensuring a consistently high level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls.
  • Process orders via phone and email.
  • Resolve customer enquiries and issues promptly.
  • Complete and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Manage back orders, shortages, and transport queries.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Maintain high productivity and service standards.
  • Support additional administrative tasks as required.
Key Skills
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a call centre or customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Calm and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Confident using computer systems and databases.
  • Quick to learn new software and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer‑focused with relationship‑building skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently or within a team.
