Customer Service Administrator
Location: Gloucester (Office Based)
Hours: Full Time | Permanent Salary: £26,500 per annum
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy customer service team within a fast‑paced office environment. This role involves handling a high volume of inbound calls, processing orders, resolving customer queries, and ensuring a consistently high level of service.
Key Responsibilities- Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls.
- Process orders via phone and email.
- Resolve customer enquiries and issues promptly.
- Complete and maintain accurate customer records.
- Manage back orders, shortages, and transport queries.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain high productivity and service standards.
- Support additional administrative tasks as required.
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a call centre or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Calm and professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Confident using computer systems and databases.
- Quick to learn new software and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer‑focused with relationship‑building skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently or within a team.
