The Dental Nurse position at Affinity Dental & Implant Centre in Gloucester is a permanent part-time role 31 hours per week. The successful candidate will join a friendly and experienced team, providing chairside support to clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures, including dental implants and sedation.
The role involves preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, assisting during treatments, maintaining accurate patient records, processing and decontaminating instruments, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention, health and safety, and CQC standards.
The practice is looking for a GDC-registered Dental Nurse who is organised, professional, patient-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Mainduties of the job
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including implants and sedation.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, set up instruments and materials, and assist clinicians during procedures.
- Ensure surgeries are clean, safe, and fully equipped.
- Maintain accurate patient records and carry out instrument decontamination and sterilisation.
- Follow all infection prevention, health and safety, and CQC regulations.
Working closely with the dental team, the role requires excellent communication, organisation, and a professional, patient-focused approach to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the practice.
Qualifications and experience- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse.

Salary: £14 per hour. DBS check, GDC indemnity, CPD funding and pension may apply.
