Role – Senior Landscape Architect

Location – Gloucester
Salary – £DOE

Our client, a respected design practice with three studios in the UK is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join its team in Gloucestershire. Known for delivering creative, sustainable, and community-focused projects, the practice brings together architects, designers, and landscape professionals in a highly collaborative environment.

THE ROLE

The Senior Landscape Architect will:

  • Lead projects from early concept design through to delivery
  • Work on a varied portfolio including public realm, residential, education, and commercial landscapes
  • Prepare detailed design packages and oversee technical delivery
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape seamlessly into wider design strategies
  • Contribute to client presentations, stakeholder engagement, and design workshops
  • Support and mentor junior team members

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with strong post-chartership experience
  • A confident designer with excellent technical knowledge and drawing skills
  • Proficient in industry software such as Vectorworks, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar)
  • Experienced across multiple sectors and motivated by sustainable, place-led design
  • A strong communicator with proven experience leading client and team relationships
