Architectural Technologist – Gloucester

Salary:
Up to £45,000

With a strong reputation built over 30+ years and a team of over 100 professionals across multiple UK studios, this practice places people, collaboration, and technical excellence at the heart of everything they do.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Architectural Technologist to join a collaborative team environment, contributing to a variety of impactful sports and leisure projects-ranging from community facilities to large-scale venues-while working closely with multidisciplinary teams across all RIBA stages.

Responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist role:

Leading and coordinating projects across all RIBA work stages
Producing detailed technical, working, and tender drawing packages
Preparing and submitting planning and building regulation applications
Undertaking site surveys and attending site visits to monitor progress and compliance
Working collaboratively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery
Supporting the integration of design and technical solutions to maintain design intent through to completion

Key Requirements for this Architectural Technologist role:

Degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Proven experience within a UK-based architectural practice
Experience working on sports and leisure projects (additional sector experience beneficial)
Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and CDM obligations
Experience producing technical design packages and involvement in construction stages
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team
Strong organisational skills with confidence in job running and project coordination
