Overview of the Role

Architectural Technologist job available in Gloucester within an established architectural practice working on defence and commercial developments across the UK. The role involves technical delivery across all RIBA stages using Revit, coordinating project information and supporting compliant, technically robust project outcomes.

Practice & Project Information

This established architectural practice delivers defence, commercial, industrial and mixed-use projects throughout the UK. The studio promotes collaborative working, technical excellence and sustainable design, offering structured career development within a supportive and quality-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed technical drawing packages and coordinated Revit models
  • Support project delivery across all RIBA stages on defence and commercial projects
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants and contractors throughout technical delivery
  • Prepare technical specifications, construction information and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and CDM requirements
  • Attend project meetings and support technical coordination during construction stages
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of two years’ experience within an architectural practice environment
  • Strong Revit proficiency and experience producing technical design information
  • Experience preparing coordinated technical packages and construction documentation
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and CDM requirements
  • Strong communication, organisation and coordination skills within project teams
  • CIAT accreditation or progression towards accreditation would be advantageous
