A welcoming primary school in Gloucester is seeking a caring and committed Individual Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a child's development in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to help a child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Assist with communication strategies, including BSL, Makaton, or other AAC methods.
• Implement individual learning strategies in line with the child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to adapt learning activities.
• Encourage independence while offering reassurance and guidance.
• Track progress and share key insights with the wider school team and parents.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment, following safeguarding policies.

• 89 - 95 per day (Depending on Experience)
