Excellent SENCO to lead a dedicated and inclusive SEND teamWe are seeking an experienced, empathetic, and proactive SENCO to join an Outstanding secondary school based in Gloucester. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role with responsibility for overseeing SEND provision across all key stages. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s inclusive strategy and ensuring that every student, regardless of background or ability, has the opportunity to succeed both academically and personally.
Experienceand Qualifications
- Qualified SENCO (NASENCO) or willingness to complete the qualification
- Proven experience supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs
- Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
- Legal right to work in the UK
