Part time – 9am to 4:30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday weekly

Pay - £33.02 per hour

Temporary Contract – 1 month

We are seeking a passionate Lecturer in Music to deliver engaging, hands-on teaching across BTEC Level 2 & 3 Music Production. This role blends industry insight with practical studio skills, bringing real-world music production into the classroom.

The Role

Teach and assess music production and/or performance at FE and/or undergraduate (BA) level

Support students’ creative, technical, and academic development

Track progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to departmental activities and events
Essential Requirements

BA in Music (Performance or Production)

Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

Experience teaching music in an education or training setting

Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable

Industry experience in performance and/or music production

Confident use of DAWs, studio equipment, and music technology
