Friends, Romans, countrymen — lend me your ears (or in this case your eyes.) Thrive Education is seeking an English Teacher for a short‑term temporary assignment at a visionary academy in the heart of Gloucester.

This role involves stepping in to deliver high‑quality English teaching, providing continuity and support for students during a brief period of cover. There’s no long‑term planning required — your focus is simply on maintaining engaging lessons and a positive classroom atmosphere.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Using your teaching experience to deliver effective, ready‑made lessons.
  • Supporting students’ learning and offering constructive feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with the English department and wider school community.
  • Maintaining clear communication with parents and guardians where appropriate.
